    About Draftix

    What is Draftix?

Draftix is a web site for sharing season tickets. Using Draftix, fans can build or join a group to share season tickets, conduct a ticket draft online, and administer their group. Draftix helps fans reduce individual costs through ticket sharing, draw from a wider audience to create groups, and exchange tickets and payments in a trusted environment.

How does the ticket draft work?

The ticket draft is based on group members ranking events. Each member ranks events in the ticket inventory. Members can rank specific events or they can allow the system to assign ranks based on some preferences. Then the tickets are allocated in rounds until all tickets are assigned. Order of selection is randomly assigned and Draftix uses a snake draft order (Round One: 1,2,3 Round Two: 3,2,1, etc.) When it is a member's turn to choose, the system assigns them their highest ranked event that is still available.

Is there any charge or service fee to use Draftix?

A 5% service fee is applied if you pay for your tickets through the site. If you are not exchanging money through the site, there is no fee. For more information, review our Payment Terms and Conditions.

How do I know the tickets I buy through Draftix are good?

See the Draftix Guarantee for more information.

What do I do if I don't receive the tickets I paid for or if they are false?

Immediately file a complaint with Draftix at customersupport@draftix.com. If the Draftix Guarantee applies you will receive a full refund. You have 7 business days from receipt of the tickets to file a complaint. Failure to file the complaint within the specified timeframe is deemed acceptance of the tickets, whereupon the ticket guarantee will no longer apply. However, please report fraudulent actions at any time so that Draftix may pursue legal action on any criminal behavior.

How do I contact Draftix with questions or problems?

Draftix can be contacted at customersupport@draftix.com.

Can I just use the Draftix ticket draft for my existing season ticket group?

Yes. If you are not looking to sell ticket shares through Draftix you can still use the site to run your group including the online ticket draft. Use of the site is free. When you set up your group, just leave the check box empty when asked if you want to sell tickets on Draftix. If doing this, the only way your group can be found is by sending an invitation through the site. The last step in setting up a group is sending invitations. Make sure you do this. If the group is already set up, you can send additional invitations by clicking on the Send Invitations link on the group page.

    Creating A Group

How do I recruit people to share my season tickets?

Create a group by clicking the Create a Group on the Groups section on the My Draftix page. When asked if you wish to list tickets for sale on Draftix check the box that says “Click For Yes.” This will let other users of the site see your listing in the tickets section so they can join the group. (Note: To list tickets for sale, you MUST already own season tickets. Please see the Terms and Conditions for additional information. If you do not own season tickets but still wish to be a part of a group, please search listings under the Tickets section and join an existing group.) If you do not own season tickets but still wish to be a part of a group, please search listings under the Tickets section and join an existing group.

How do I get reimbursed for tickets I sell on Draftix?

When you sell tickets on Draftix, users who join your group that you have not specifically invited to the group must pay for tickets through Draftix. Draftix will retain all payments made through the site until the draft is completed and the member has received their tickets. When the tickets are received and validated, Draftix will send you a check in the amount for which the ticket were sold. It is up to you to work out payment arrangements with those you have invited.

What happens if I don’t get enough people to join my group?

When you create a group on Draftix you list the total number of shares in the group. If all shares do not sell the draft will still execute for members who did join your group. Unsold shares will be assigned to you, the owner of the tickets. .The system will use your draft rankings to choose the events just like a regular member of the group. If you are not a member of the group and didn’t rank any events then the system will use the average draft rank for that event across all members within your group.

How do I send an invitation to people to join my group

The final step when you create a group on Draftix is to send invitations. Simply fill out the requested information and Draftix will send the invitation. If you have already created the group and wish to invite additional people, simply go the “My Draftix” page, select the group to which you want to invite people, and then select the “Send Invites” link and follow the same invitation process you did when you set up the group.

    Ticket Draft Process

How does the ticket draft work?

The ticket draft is based on group members ranking events. Each member ranks events in the ticket inventory. Members can rank specific events or they can allow the system to assign ranks based on some preferences. Then the tickets are allocated in rounds until all tickets are assigned. Order of selection is randomly assigned and Draftix uses a snake draft order (Round One: 1,2,3 Round Two: 3,2,1, etc.) When it is a member's turn to choose, the system assigns them their highest ranked event that is still available.

How do I know that the ticket draft is fair?

No member or group administrator maintains any control over the draft process besides setting up the initial rules to govern the group or indicating their individual preferences and ranks for events. The system operates based on an impartial mathematical algorithm and does not allow any member or administrator to assign tickets to members or otherwise influence ticket assignment.

    When will the draft execute?

During group set up the administrator sets the date of the draft. If the group has achieved the minimum number of members required, the draft will execute on this date at midnight. The draft date should be set at least two weeks before the first event so that there is time for tickets to be received. To find the draft execution date for your group, go to the Group Page by clicking on the group name in the “My Groups” section of the “My Draftix” page.
