Draftix is a web site for sharing season tickets. Using Draftix, fans can build or join a group to share season tickets, conduct a ticket draft online, and administer their group. Draftix helps fans reduce individual costs through ticket sharing, draw from a wider audience to create groups, and exchange tickets and payments in a trusted environment. Why should I use Draftix? If you want season tickets but don’t want to attend all the games or be responsible for their cost, Draftix offers a great solution. You get access to all the benefits of season tickets but you don’t have to shoulder all the cost of season tickets. If you already own season tickets, you can share the costs with other members, eliminate the need to sell individual tickets throughout the season, but still maintain ownership rights to your seats. How does the ticket draft work? See the How Draftix Works page for an explanation. How do I know that the ticket draft is fair? No member or group administrator maintains any control over the draft process besides setting up the initial rules to govern the group or indicating their individual preferences and ranks for events. The system operates based on mathematical algorithms and does not allow any member or administrator to assign tickets to members or otherwise influence ticket assignment. Is there any charge or service fee to use Draftix? If you are joining a group and the group requires that you pay for tickets through the site then you will be assessed a service fee of 15% of the total price you paid to purchase the tickets. What do I do if I don’t receive the tickets I paid for or if they are false? Immediately file a complaint with Draftix. If the Draftix Guarantee applies you will receive a full refund or comparable tickets if the dispute is upheld in your favor. You have 7 business days from receipt of the tickets to file a complaint. Failure to file the complaint within the specified timeframe is deemed acceptance of the tickets, whereupon the ticket guarantee will no longer apply. However, please report fraudulent actions at any time so that Draftix may pursue legal action on any criminal behavior. How do I contact Draftix with questions or problems? If you just want to use Draftix to manage the draft and ongoing communication for your group, simply indicate that it is a Private Group during the Group Setup process. This will only allow people you have invited to join the group but will still provide full Draftix functionality. Creating A Group How do I recruit people to share my season tickets? When creating your group select Public Group. This posts the group in our Public Group listings so other users can find it and join the group. Even if you select Public Group you can still send invitations to friends to join the group. (Note: To create a Public Group, you MUST already own season tickets. Please see the Terms and Conditions for additional information. How do I get reimbursed for tickets I sell on Draftix? When you create a Public group on Draftix, non invited members must pay for tickets through Draftix. For invited members, you can choose “Pay on Acceptance” or you can choose “Private Arrangement.” With “Pay on Acceptance” the invited member will be required to pay for tickets when joining the group. Draftix will retain all payments made through the site until the draft is completed and the member has received their tickets. When the tickets are received and validated, Draftix will send you a check in the amount for which the ticket were sold. If you choose “Private Arrangement”, it will be up to you to work out payment options directly with the members. What happens if I don’t get enough people to join my group? When you create a group on Draftix you will have to enter a minimum number of members and a maximum number of members for the group. If you do not achieve the minimum number of members by the date of the draft, the group will be cancelled and all ticket payments and fees will be refunded. If you do not want the group to be cancelled any member can opt to take an additional share(s) in the group to achieve the minimum number of members. As soon as the minimum number of members is reached the draft will be executed on the designated date. How do I send an invitation to people to join my group The final step when you create a group on Draftix is to send invitations. Simply fill out the requested information and Draftix will send the invitation. If you have already created the group and wish to invite additional people, simply go the “My Draftix” page, select the group to which you want to invite people, and then select the “Send Invites” link and follow the same invitation process you did when you set up the group. What is the best type of ticket draft? There is no best type of ticket draft. Many members prefer the Progressive/Regressive method since it eliminates some of the advantage that may be gained by the member who is randomly assigned the first draft pick. When will the draft execute? During group set up the administrator sets the date of the draft. If the group has achieved the minimum number of members required, the draft will execute on this date at midnight. The draft date should be set at least two weeks before the first event so that there is time for tickets to be received. To find the draft execution date for your group, go to the Group Page by clicking on the group name in the “My Groups” section of the “My Draftix” page. Find a group that fits your requirements and press the Join Now button. How do I join a group that I’ve been invited to join? If you have been sent an invitation from someone to join a group, click on the link in the invitation text. When redirected to the site, you will have to sign in or register. If you must register as a new user, use the email address at which you received the invitation. If the ticket owner has indicated that joining the group includes post season play then yes. How do I receive the tickets that I bought through Draftix? Draftix is integrated with the FedEx. When tickets are bought through Draftix and the ticket draft is complete, the ticket owner will print our FedEx shipping bill for 2 to 3 day delivery.
